SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for testing samples for wear resistance. Proposed device comprises rotor with axle, grinder with abrasive belt and specimen holder. Holder is made in the form of spring-loaded plate with radial feed to contact with abrasive belt and is mounted on one platform of machine tool.

EFFECT: considerably reduces duration of tests for wear resistance and provides stability of test results.
