SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysical prospecting and can be used for detection of hydrocarbons by means of AVO attributes (dependence of reflection amplitude from removal) based on angular rotation. Disclosed is a method of detecting hydrocarbons by a curve of AVO attributes based on an angular rotation, which includes performing (102) direct simulation at a geological interval to be analyzed, to obtain AVO attribute data of multiple sampling points in the geological interval to be analyzed; obtaining (103) a graph of AVO attributes in accordance with AVO attributes of several sampling points, performing (104) selecting a trend at all sampling points on a graph of AVO attributes to obtain a selected straight line, offset (105) of the selected straight line to obtain a background line passing through the origin, rotation (106) of all sampling points around the preset coordinate point with the background line and the line perpendicular to the background line, as coordinate axes to obtain a rotated AVO attribute curve so as to improve and display classification of different AVO anomalies. Also disclosed are a device for detecting hydrocarbons by means of a graph of AVO-attributes dependency based on angular rotation and a computer storage medium.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reliability of obtained data.
