FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for measuring electric current generated by an audio frequency amplifier for actuation of an acoustic column, comprising:—resistor (1), connected in series between audio frequency amplifier and acoustic column;—voltage-to-current converter (3), which inputs are connected to outputs of resistor (1), made with possibility of proportional conversion of voltage difference at outputs of shunting resistor into signal current;—first current mirror (7), input of which is connected to output of voltage-to-current converter (3), and output is connected by current-voltage converter (5);—DC bias generator (9) connected to voltage-to-current converter (3) input, output of which is connected to current-voltage converter (5) through second current mirror (11), and configured to generate bias current, which provides operation of the device in linear mode and without saturation, regardless of electric current value generated by audio frequency amplifier.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of a device that enables to control the effect of measurements on the measured electrical signal, reduce costs and increase sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
