SUBSTANCE: use for aerosol generation. Essence of the invention is that the aerosol-generating device comprises an electrical power supply; a cavity for receiving an aerosol-generating article; and a plurality of semiconductor heaters located inside the cavity, each semiconductor heater comprises a substrate layer and a heating layer provided on the substrate layer and is a continuous layer, additionally comprises controller made with possibility to control supply of electric power from electric power supply to each of semiconductor heaters.
EFFECT: technical result is providing improved control of heating of aerosol-generating article.
