SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is claimed - an aerosol generating product, an aerosol generating device and an aerosol generating system. The aerosol generating product contains a part for storing liquid, comprising liquid aerosol forming substrate and hydrochromic material made on a part for storing liquid. Hydrochromic material has the first color in contact with liquid aerosol forming substrate and the second color in the absence of liquid aerosol forming substrate. The aerosol generating system contains the aerosol generating product, an aerosol generating element and the aerosol generating device. The aerosol generating device contains an electric power source, an electronic photodetector and a controller made with the possibility to control the supply of electric power from the electric power source based on the value of the determined optical characteristic determined using the electronic photodetector.
EFFECT: determination of the consumption of liquid aerosol forming substrate is provided due to the presence of a simple and economical indicator of the consumption of liquid aerosol forming substrate from the aerosol generating product in the form of hydrochromic material.
