FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to X-ray engineering. Cooling device for X-ray tubes in X-ray generators includes a housing having a central receiving device for placing an X-ray tube, having inlet for supply of gaseous cooling medium, having outlet hole for discharge of gaseous cooling medium, and having gas duct, which passes between inlet hole and outlet hole. Gas-supplying channel is designed so that during operation it carries out gaseous cooling medium directly on the housing of the X-ray tube lying on high voltage. Gas-supplying channel also passes spirally around the X-ray tube, so that the electric potential supplied to the X-ray tube falls along the gas-supplying channel to the zero potential.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the X-ray tube operation reliability and reduction of its dimensions.
