FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: hybrid power plant for aircraft with two or more screw propellers comprises an internal combustion engine with its automatic control system, fuel supply system, electric motors, the total number of which corresponds to the number of screw propellers, power plant control system, main DC electric network, electric energy generation unit, electric energy accumulation unit connected in certain manner. Electric motor comprises control module and is kinematically connected with one of screw propellers. Electric power generation unit comprises electric generator kinematically connected with internal combustion engine and rectifier. Accumulation unit comprises at least two blocks of storage batteries connected in parallel, and unit for monitoring accumulator batteries.

EFFECT: higher reliability and fault tolerance of hybrid power plant.
