SUBSTANCE: invention represents an immunogenic composition containing an isolated or recombinant polypeptide antigen of a non-typable strain H. influenzae NTHI1292 (NT067) and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, diluents and/or adjuvants, for use in a method of inducing a protective immune response to H. influenzae infection in a mammal, wherein said antigen NT067 is a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 5 or SEQ ID NO: 52. Invention also relates to a method for preventing or treating infections caused by a non-typable strain of H. influenzae, which comprises a step of administering to the mammal an effective amount of the above composition.

EFFECT: antigens and antigen compositions are disclosed.
