FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: options of a method for producing an antibody that has lower antigen-binding activity under conditions of low calcium concentration than under conditions of high calcium concentration are proposed. The resulting antibody has a function of accelerating the inclusion of an antibody-bound antigen in cells, binding the antigen two or more times, accelerating the decrease in the concentration of the antigen in plasma and/or improving the retention in plasma. A pharmaceutical composition is also proposed to accelerate the assimilation of the antigen by cells or to accelerate the decrease in the concentration of the antigen in plasma, containing the resulting antibody. In addition, the invention relates to a method for increasing the number of antibody-antigen bindings and to a method for increasing the retention of the antibody in plasma.
EFFECT: invention can be used to accelerate the capture of an antibody-bound antigen into cells, increase the number of antigen binding by one antibody molecule, accelerate the decrease in the concentration of the antigen in plasma and increase the retention of the antibody in plasma.
