PORT FACILITY AND METHOD OF MOORING IN PORT FACILITY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E02B17/02 E02B3/06

Abstract RU 2727496 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: floating body (11) is moored in a port facility comprising a pile base structure (10) provided with two side walls (22) extending upwards through sea level (29) and ending above sea level (29); and located in lateral direction lower structure (26), rigidly connecting side walls (22) between each other. Upper surface of lower structure (26) is located at some depth so that floating body (11) can float between two side walls (22). Floating body (11) is provided with part projecting sideways and is arranged with possibility of rigid, but removable maintenance due to at least parts of side walls (22). Floating body (11) is moved into position between side walls (22). At least a portion of the sideward portion is located above side walls (22). Floating body (11) is rigidly attached to vertical side walls (22) of basic structure (10), at the same time leaving floating body (11) fully afloat by providing water-filled gap between at least between bottom of floating body (11) and corresponding top surface of basic structure (10), preventing relative vertical movement between buoyant body (11) and basic structure (10). Basic structure (10) of the port installation is located with support on the seabed by means of a certain number of piles (25) ending on the upper surface of side walls (22) above level (29) of the sea or in side walls (22) below level (29) of the sea. Floating body (11) is equipped with projecting sideways part and is made with possibility of rigid but detachable support on, at least, part of upper surface of side walls (22). Upper surface of lower structure (26) is located at depth, providing possibility of floating body (11) between two side walls (22). At least a portion of the laterally protruding portion is located above side walls (22). Side walls (22) are made with possibility to carry weight of floating body (11) by means of rigid but removable attachment, with possibility of floating body (11) to stay afloat due to water-filled gap at least between bottom of floating body (11) and corresponding upper surface of basic structure (10).

EFFECT: possibility of installation of system in shallow water and in regions with sea bottom, having low carrying capacity.
