FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), as well as to their cosmetically acceptable salts, which can be used to combat skin or face aging symptoms, in particular with signs of aging caused by reduced skin elasticity. In formula (I) p =1,2 or 3, R independently denotes a cyano group (-CN), a hydroxy group (-OH), group CO2R', in which R' denotes a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched C1-C6-alkyl group, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched C1-C6-alkyl group. Invention also relates to cosmetic compositions containing said compounds, to use thereof for controlling body or facial skin aging, to reduce wrinkles, to suppress elastase activity and to a method for cosmetic treatment of body or face skin.
