FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and display, computer conversion means, and then reading cartographic information in a blind or visually impaired people, providing users with visual defects with the possibility of replacing direct visual perception with other types of perception, specifically by synchronous audio-tactile perception of cartographic information, and can be used to read maps, drawings and any other sources of graphic information by blind and visually impaired people.
EFFECT: faster, accurate and reliable recognition of cartographic objects on an analogue tactile map with RFID-labels by means of nanotechnologies and application on said map of tactile conventional signs based only on spatial location of object of given area, as well as automation of the recognition process, high information value and high volume of presentation of semantic information on cartographic objects by using in active mode an audio-tactile source of cartographic information with the possibility of real-time immediate access to cartographic information directly on the place of use of an analogue tactile card with applied RFID-marks.
