FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for calibration of a magnetic resonance imaging system. Essence of invention consists in the fact that the kit for calibration of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system comprises two or more objects, wherein two or more of said objects have preset concentration of isotopes 19F and matrix material, wherein isotopes 19F occur from a contrast agent, which is at least partially embedded and/or encapsulated by matrix material, and wherein two or more of said concentrations differ from each other, and wherein isotopes 19F are derived from a fluorinated contrast agent selected from a group consisting of partially fluorinated compounds of carbon, perfluoroalkylbromide and perfluoroalkyl chloride.
EFFECT: providing an agent for quantitative assessment of degree of inflammation in the given inflammatory process by MRI imaging.
