FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of shaped stiffness element from composite laminar material. Technical result is achieved by a method which involves assembling a flat workpiece of a composite laminar material. Billet forming of composite laminar material with production of rectilinear stiffness element having required cross-section shape. Profile forming in stiffener having inner radius and outer radius, wherein forming the profile in stiffness element includes arrangement of rectilinear stiffness element on curvilinear surface of appliance. Arrangement of pressing device on straight stiffening element and use of pressing device for pressing stiffness element with thrust against curvilinear surface of appliance. Method also includes formation of a set of slits partially passing into the pressing device in external radius of the pressing device.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of folds of layer by reducing compression deformation on inner radius during stiffness element profiling.
