FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication equipment. Disclosed is method generating a protocol data unit (PDU) packet, including: receiving a service data unit (SDU) packet; processing SDU packet in accordance with size of predetermined data packet; and generating a packet header and data section of the PDU packet in accordance with the processing result, wherein the packet header and the data section form a PDU packet; wherein in the packet header there is no frame indication field (FI) and a re-segmentation (RF) flag field, but containing a predetermined field, and this predetermined field includes a target field which is newly added, wherein the length of the target field, which is newly added, is less than the total length of the FI field and the RF field.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a protocol data unit (PDU) packet generation.
