SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and aims at risk-oriented determination of management strategy of patients with uveal melanoma (UM). Genetic analysis of the tumor is carried out to determine the prognostic class. If observing 1-grade tumor – a "good" risk, the patient is recommended to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of abdominal organs with contrasting gadoxetic acid and computed tomography (CT) of lungs with frequency once every 6 and 12 months, respectively. If observing class 2 tumor – "medium" risk, the patient is recommended to perform MRI of abdominal organs with contrasting with gadoxetic acid and CT of lungs with frequency once every 5 and 6 months respectively. If observing grade 3 tumor – "bad" risk, the patient is recommended to perform MRI of abdominal cavity with contrasting with gadoxetic acid and CT of lungs with periodicity once every 4 and 5 months, respectively. If observing class 4 tumor – "very bad" risk, the patient is recommended to perform MRI of abdominal cavity with contrasting with gadoxetic acid and CT of lungs with periodicity once every 3 and 4 months, respectively.

EFFECT: method provides detecting MTS UM of small size at early stages of development, which will make it possible to increase patient's survival rate.
