FIELD: beekeeping.

SUBSTANCE: method for control of wintering bee congestion, which is volume of ellipsoid, is realized by measurement of temperature distribution within 10–40 °C in vertical plane in the middle of its cross-section. Volume of wintering bees accumulation is set using external influencing temperature, approximate estimation of bees quantity in beehive. Taking into account the accumulation volume of hibernating bees and distribution of temperatures in the vertical plane in the middle of its cross section, a visual image of a cluster of hibernating bees is constructed on the screen of a video monitor with subsequent visualization of the volume of accumulation of wintering bees in the hive space.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain temperature distribution in the wintering bees.
