FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indoor lighting systems of buildings. Light well contains a mirror tube, which can be installed on the roof, with a transparent, sealed dome fixed in its upper part, having a hemispherical arch in its upper part and an open equatorial section in its lower part. On the roof there is an inclined flat part of the surface in the form of truncating hemisphere from the south side with diameter of the flat part of the surface not less than the sphere radius. Normal to the truncation plane of the said part of the surface is located to the zenith at an angle equal to the average angle of the solstice, and around the lower open part of the dome on its surface there are several recesses of a rounded shape for fast and reliable installation of the dome on the mirror barrel. In addition, in the lower part of the mirror tube on the rings there is a combined unit of light scattering.
EFFECT: improved tightness and reliability of the well.
