FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to a method for preventing condensation in a device for transmitting natural light into internal spaces of buildings. Method of preventing formation of condensate in the device for transmitting natural light involves installing a thermal barrier in a mirror tube of the housing of the device and forming two cavities: with an external temperature zone and a room temperature zone. An intermediate temperature zone is formed between the roof and the panel of the ceiling covering, which forms an attic, which separates the external and room temperature zones, in which a thermal barrier is mounted and installed either directly in the floor panel, or at a distance from it, which does not exceed ⅓ of the height of the attic. Thermal barrier is made in the form of a separate dividing unit, which is made in the form of flanges: upper and lower, between which at least two transparent discs are fixed, after which the flanges are tightened with plastic fastening elements, wherein the transparent discs have diameter of 1.02 to 1.15 of the outer diameter of the mirror tube and are connected to each other by a flexible spacer tape mounted along the perimeter of the discs in the form of a closed ring forming a sealed air chamber; at least one vent hole is made in the upper part of the housing of the device.
