FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for directed transmission of natural sunlight into internal spaces of buildings and structures. Natural light transmission device comprises a housing with a skewed upper part with a transparent cover and a mirror tube with a diffuser and a thermal barrier installed inside it, made of two transparent discs, with an air gap between them, at that, the thermal barrier is made in the form of a separating unit mounted between parts of the mirror tube, equipped with flanges: upper and lower, fixing at least two transparent discs to each other and tightened by plastic fastening elements, wherein the transparent discs are made with diameter of 1.02 to 1.15 of the outer diameter of the mirror tube and are tightly connected to each other by means of a flexible spacer tape mounted along the perimeter of the discs in the form of a closed ring, which forms an air gap in the form of a sealed air chamber, and the housing in the upper part is equipped with at least one ventilation hole.
EFFECT: improved heat-insulating characteristics of the device.
