FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermal barrier for a mirror housing of a device for transmitting natural light into the interior of a building. Thermal barrier consists of at least two transparent discs with an air gap between them and is made in the form of a separating unit equipped with upper and lower flanges tightened by plastic fasteners. Transparent discs are tightly connected to each other by means of a flexible distance-spacer tape mounted along the perimeter of the discs in the form of a closed ring, which forms an air gap in the form of a sealed air chamber.
EFFECT: prevention of condensation.
