FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used in dressing of poor-quality gold-bearing ores with heap leaching in extreme severe climatic conditions of the North-East of the Russian Federation, allows year-round leaching of gold, including from frozen ores. Method of heap leaching of gold from poor ores in cryolite zone conditions involves pit trenching, installation of anti-filtration screen at its bottom, laying of leached ores and heat-forming substance into pile, installation of equipment for leaching and pumping out of productive solutions, as well as erection of heat-insulating coating, which is built on top of stack to protect it from freezing in winter time. Heat-generating substance in winter is unslaked lime, which is placed in sealed plastic capsules, after which capsules as stacking is laid are arranged in horizontal rows below level of feed leach solution circuit with installation of sensors of thermal control system, based on readings of which as leaching solution penetrates via through holes made in capsules, exothermic reaction of lime quenching with release of heat is controlled. In order to maintain optimal temperature conditions throughout the pile volume, specific heat-generating substance consumption for heating of 1 kg of stacked gold-containing ore subject to heap leaching is determined by calculation.
EFFECT: technical result is higher leaching efficiency, as well as reduced metal losses.
