FIELD: metal forming.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to metal forming, namely to devices for cutting of round gaskets from various materials of small thickness (paper, rubber, cardboard, foil, and so forth). Method comprises placing a workpiece on a humid horizontal surface of a table, billet fixation, cutter movement from top to bottom, padding cutting during table rotation in horizontal plane. Installation for production of gaskets from thin material comprises table, lengthwise and crosswise guides, cutters and replaceable punches installed with possibility of movement along guides, with possibility of back-and-forth movement in vertical direction, as well as fixation in specified position relative to guides. Table is made round, with possibility of rotation relative to its axis, is equipped with limb installed with possibility of circular movement relative to longitudinal axis of table and fixation in specified position, guides form crosspiece, on which diametrically opposite are installed at least one pair of punches and at least one pair cutters. Each cutter is made consisting of a fork installed on the crosspiece, a horizontal axis fixed in the holes of the fork ledges, a knife installed by means of the ring on the horizontal axis between two clamping rings equipped with grooves on the outer side surface with rubber rings arranged in them, wherein the ring width is greater than the blade width, the knife and the hold-down rings are rotatable relative to the common horizontal axis. Guides can be equipped with measuring scales.

EFFECT: as a result, the range of diameters of the cut gaskets is extended, the device can be easily reconfigured when changing the diameter of the cut gaskets.
