FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device for measuring arterial pressure comprises a microprocessor, a pressure sensor, a pump, a valve, a touch screen, real-time and permanent non-volatile memory, a clock, a calendar, an atmospheric pressure sensor and a biometric identification device. Prior to measurement, forecast of expected pressure required to determine pressure rise in cuff is carried out in a personal manner based on biometric identification and taking into account external factors, including current atmospheric pressure at the moment of measurement, from non-volatile memory of the device containing information on measurements of arterial pressure of users together with information on external factors during measurements. After successful measurements, recording is made to non-volatile memory of the device except for measurements in guest mode.
EFFECT: higher quality of prediction of expected systolic pressure by supplementing data on external factors with atmospheric pressure, which significantly reduces probability of incorrect prediction in weather-dependent people, as a result, comfort of use of the device by users is increased, as well as reliability of stored measurement results and information on external factors is increased.
