FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a section of dentistry and telemedicine, and can be used for evaluating the state of oral tissues in order to select dental hygiene products. Visual assessment of the photograph and/or video recording of the adult respondent is performed by evaluating the state of the main tissues of the oral cavity in points: hard dental tissues, periodontal tissues (gums), and dental roots. Evaluation for each parameter is carried out according to proposed criteria: presence of decay cavities or seals, presence of defects of hard dental tissues, presence of white (petty) spots; presence of gum hyperemia, presence of gingival oedema or hypertrophy, presence of plaque or dental stones; presence of root nakedness (recession), presence of defects of hard tissues in area of roots of teeth. If observing the photograph and / or video capture of each of the said criteria, the state of the oral tissues is evaluated with the score "1", if no - with a "0" score, the points are summed up for each parameter. Orthodontic assessment is supplemented with questioning of the respondent, including questions relating to each of the parameters, adding "1" or "0" to the obtained score. Obtained sums of points are compared for each evaluation parameter. If the maximum sum of points is obtained for the evaluation parameter of "hard dental tissues", recommending hygienic remineralizing and anti-caries action if the maximum score is obtained for the evaluation parameter "periodontal tissue (gum)", recommend anti-inflammatory action hygiene products, if the sum of the points for the "tooth roots" parameter is predominant, the desensitising action hygiene products are recommended, if the sum of the points is the same in the two or three suggested evaluation parameters, the combined action hygiene agents are recommended.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of using method for individual selection of oral hygiene means, hygienic education and popularization of health of saving behaviour among population.
