SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of wireless communication networks. Technical result is achieved due to allocation of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources to at least one wireless device for uplink transmissions, transmitting to a first wireless device a configuration message indicating PUCCH resources for transmitting scheduling requests, wherein the configuration message comprises a PUCCH duration and a scheduling request periodicity, where the scheduling request periodicity is less than the duration of the PUCCH, and receiving the first scheduling request from the first wireless device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of transmission of scheduling request.
