FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: provided is a two-phase whitening composition for oral care containing a hydrophobic phase and a hydrophilic phase, and a method of teeth whitening. Hydrophobic phase contains hydrogen peroxide source; a non-ionic surfactant and an acyl group donor. Hydrophilic phase contains an amphoteric surface-active substance, an enzyme which catalyses a reaction between a hydrogen peroxide source and an acyl-group donor to form peracid acid. At that, when combining the hydrophobic phase and the hydrophilic phase, the resulting product has viscosity of about 50,000 cP to about 250,000 cP.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase formation of bleaching agents due to more efficient mixing of phases.
