FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to centrifugal classifier used for separation of classified material into fractions. Centrifugal classifier comprises classifier housing and impeller capable of rotation in classifier housing. Housing classifier has at least one inlet for classified material, at least one outlet for its coarse fraction, as well as at least first outlet for its fine fraction. Impeller is formed by classifying drum and impeller-classifying shaft of impeller installed with possibility of rotation, preferably around horizontal axis. Classifying drum side surface is discontinuous such that during classifier operation it rotates falling on it from outside of classifying drum classified material and passes through itself in radially internal direction of separating air. At least one outlet for fine fraction is located at the end of classifying drum with possibility of fine discharge to this output hole from internal cavity of classifying drum through free end surface of classifying drum. Impeller shaft consists of two parts, between which there is no direct connection providing force transfer. First part of impeller shaft extends from disc bearing classification drum in area of its first end side, outward in direction from classifying drum. Impeller shaft second part extends from the disc carrying the classifying drum in the area of its second end face to the outside in the direction from the classifying drum. According to another embodiment of classifier in area of at least one outlet for coarse fraction guide element is installed, located at distance X from inner side surface of section of classifier housing, enclosing classifying drum, and made so that classified material moving along said inner side surface at radial distance from it, less or equal to X, passes under guide member and then is carried out into outlet for coarse fraction. Classified material moving along said inner side surface at radial distance from it, larger than X, deviates radially inward direction to classifying drum.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of classification, as well as improved quality of classification.
