SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a downhole tool and can be used for examination and cleaning of a well shaft. In particular, disclosed is a survey tool comprising a housing having a proximal end for accommodating a fluid from a drill string, and a far end intended for receiving inspection equipment, a wall having an inner surface forming a first channel inside the housing, and an outer surface forming at least part of the outer housing portion, and a piston configured to move within first channel. Wall comprises multiple passes passing between channel and outer surface to provide connection between outer part of housing and first channel. Piston is made with possibility of its selective movement between at least the first condition to allow fluid flow through at least one first passage from multiple passes for supply of fluid medium to the first position in well shaft and a second state for allowing the fluid to flow through at least one second passage from a plurality of passages for supplying fluid to a second position in the wellbore.

EFFECT: technical result is lower labor input of the wellbore inspection process.
