FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises aiming of a harvester head to the tree trunk, its capture in the butt part, sawing and felling the tree with the harvester, the tree processing, including limbing and bucking to assortments, laying the assortments on the ground. After the capture of the tree the harvester head on a standing tree trunk is moved to the top, cut down, the top part is pushed to the ground, it is bucked to assortments, and then the harvester head is aimed again to the rest butt part, it is cut down, pushed from the stump and bucked to assortments.
EFFECT: reduction of damage to growing trees, the maximum hanging of a tree when felling, and significant reduction of load to the harvester head, the manipulator elements and the harvester chassis.
