METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ASCENDING AORTA PROSTHETICS AND ARCH EXOPROSTHESIS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00 A61F2/04 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. One-stage ascending aortic prosthesis and arthroplastic replacement are performed, ascending structure, an aortic arch and brachiocephalic branches are mobilized from adjoining tissues. For reconstruction one prosthesis is used, length of which corresponds to length of ascending aorta and arch plus 10 mm to formation of anastomoses with aorta. Part of the prosthesis intended for exoprosthesis is turned outwards, putting on a proximal part. After reconstructing the ascending aorta, the turned end of the prosthesis is incised along a projection of the outer curvature of the arch. Then, it is turned back upwards and around the superimposed expanded aorta with subsequent formation of holes for brachiocephalic arteries, and tissue of the prosthesis is braided together between brachiocephalic arteries by linear sutures, simultaneously fixing their mouths from all sides by non-traumatic suture.

EFFECT: method enables avoiding complications, such as migration of the exoprosthesis in the longitudinal direction and along the diameter, as well as traumatizing with separate fixing sutures of the altered aortic wall.
