FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic device configured to communicate through an infrastructure network. Electronic device comprises: a network interface configured to send and/or receive a message to another electronic device in the infrastructure network; and a memory adapted to store a unique local address (ULA), having an address format, wherein the ULA provides an indication of a recipient of a message sent in the infrastructure network. Address format comprises: a global ID configured to identify an infrastructure network to which the electronic device is connected; logical network ID immediately following the global ID, wherein the logical network ID is configured to identify the logical network of the infrastructure network; and an interface ID immediately following the logical network ID, wherein the interface ID is configured to identify the electronic device in the infrastructure network.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of efficient data transmission in an infrastructure network.
