FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic device. An electronic device configured to transmit messages to or receive messages from other electronic devices through a platform layer, wherein messages have a message format comprising: a message type field which is adapted to indicate a message operation code which determines the type of the transmitted message; an exchange identifier (ID) field following the message type field, wherein the exchange ID field is adapted to unambiguously identify a discussion in which the message appears for the electronic device; a profile ID field immediately following the exchange ID field, wherein the profile ID field indicates a profile from a plurality of profiles, which enables the receiving device to interpret the message type field and identify at least one of the plurality of circuits for the transmitted data, wherein each circuit of a plurality of circuits indicates a coding format in accordance with a profile and a circuit; an application payload field following the profile ID field, wherein the application payload field contains data associated with the application layer of the electronic device.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of efficient data transmission in an infrastructure network.
