SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an infrastructure network. An electronic device containing: memory; a processing system that is configured to: receive a SendInit message related to a multicast event from a second electronic device in the infrastructure network, the multicast event corresponding to the multicast data transfer of at least one file between the electronic device and the second electronic device via the infrastructure network, while the SendInit message contains: SendInit forwarding control, file designation, file designation length adjusted to specify file designation length; generate a SendAccept message, wherein the SendAccept message is adapted to indicate a forwarding mode, wherein the SendAccept message contains: SendAccept forwarding control, a maximum block size that indicates the maximum size of the multicast data transfer; and transmit the SendAccept message to a second electronic device in the infrastructure network.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of efficient data transmission in the infrastructure network.
