FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of transportation of water-flooded oil using pumps of booster pump station. Method of controlling operating mode of booster pump station includes supply of fluid from buffer tank through discharge pipeline with flow sensor at pump outlet, selected proceeding from the volume of incoming products to the buffer tank and discharging output parameters into the discharge pipeline through the discharge pipeline with the sensor. At that, the pump is selected so that the hourly volume of fluid supplied to the booster pump station during the day is within 50–80 % of the rated capacity of this pump. Pump is equipped with frequency-controlled drive, which by means of control unit, which receives input and output parameters, adjusting so that at constant pump level of liquid in buffer tank is at average level of ±10 %.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of power consumption and increase in overhaul period due to change of operating mode taking into account characteristics of used pump and exclusion of technologically unreasonable launches.
