SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POSTPONED POSTPROCESSING PROCESSES WHEN ENCODING VIDEO INFORMATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H04N19/117 H04N19/85

Abstract RU 2728812 C1

FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer engineering. Postprocessing postponement method, which is carried out on a computer, includes transmitting to a client application a command for measuring potential opportunity of client hardware; and transmitting to a client application a summation of a known load of one or more preset postprocessing candidate processes for delay in order to estimate the number of postprocessing candidate processes for delay, which can be delayed for client hardware; at that, a list of processes of postprocessing-candidates for delay, built in reverse order, is made; and wherein the server receives a list of postprocessing processes to be deferred, passes a list of postponed postprocessing processes during the post-processing of the first video frame and sends a command to the client application for rendering the image.

EFFECT: shorter delay and coding time.
