A computer-based method of deferring post-processing operations includes sending a command to a client application to measure the potential of hardware and sending a command to the client application to compile a list of post-processing operations to be deferred; the server obtains the list of post-processing operations to be deferred and skips the post-processing operations from the list of post-processing operations to be deferred when rendering a video frame.

EFFECT: invention reduces the deferral time and the encoding time.
