FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to system (S) for detecting and early warning of approaching acute disorders in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, comprising: at least one device (D) for determining physiological parameters (R), at least one timer for determining time intervals, such as a date and time, associated with said determined physiological parameters (R); at least one audio and/or visual alarm signaling device, capable of delivering an audio and/or visual output warning signal associated with said determined physiological parameters (R); logic control unit (C), connected to at least one device (D) and at least one timer and capable of controlling at least one signal feeder, suitable for receiving, at the input, said determined physiological parameters (R) and time intervals; logic control unit is equipped with processing program, in which the thresholds of the specified values achieved by the said physiological parameters (R) are initially stored, and which performs the following steps: binding said determined physiological parameters (R) with time intervals, in which their determination took place; for each determination time moment, sending said measured physiological parameters (R) to an algorithm for calculating statistical indicators; comparison of statistical indicators obtained at previous step, with a predetermined threshold and activating at least one signal device for delivering an audio and/or visual warning signal if at least one of the statistical values exceeds the corresponding predetermined threshold.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective detection and early prediction of exacerbations approach in patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
