FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of determining location of rail vehicles. Evaluation unit (10) comprises connection with position sensor (11) and connection with tracking sensor (12). Position sensor (11) is adapted to detect rail vehicles (19) passing above position of position sensor (11) along railway track (14), and provides position output signal (15). Tracking sensor (12) comprises fiber-optic sensor (16), which is adapted to detect noise position along railway track (14), and tracking sensor (12) provides tracking output signal (18). Evaluation unit (10) provides output signal (13) which depends on position output signal (15) and tracking output signal (18).
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of location of rail vehicles.
