FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for treating patients with fibrosing middle otitis media. Silicone protector for formation of tympanic cavity at its infection is made in form of hemisphere on square base in form of single model, in which base has size 10 × 10 mm, and hemisphere with diameter of 3 mm protrudes above base surface to height of 1.5 mm. Base enables simulating the intraoperative exactly the shape required for closing the area of the prosthetic wall according to individual linear dimensions of the particular patient. Method of producing said silicone tread, in which, in order to repeatedly reproduce a product, photopolymer matrices are made using computer modelling and 3D printing, in which a cold-hardened medical silicone is poured and extracted 24 hours later. Method of using said silicone tread, characterized by forming a meato-tympanic flap, inspecting the tympanic cavity, fibrotic tissue is removed between the tympanic membrane and the medial wall of the tympanic cavity; the tread base is prepared by cutting it intraoperatively on a slide according to the area of the patient's promontory wall. Further, a silicone hemisphere is laid on the bare promontorium from the mouth of the auditory tube to a window of the vestibule of the corresponding size under the formed meato-tympanic flap.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of regenerating the mucous membrane, restoring constant gas exchange in the tympanic cavity for prevention of re-ingestion of the tympanic cavity by maintaining the height of the tympanum.
