FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in treating patients with an auditory tube pathology – auditory tube dysfunction, a cicatrical narrowing of the auditory tube, exudative osteitis media. Device for stenting cartilage of the auditory tube comprises a flexible tubular body with an air channel for aeration of the middle ear and an elastic working balloon on the end part of the flexible tubular body. Between end face of end part of tubular housing and elastic working cylinder there is a silicone cylindrical retainer with length of 4–8 mm, which is made for attachment to acoustic pipe by ligature. Elastic working cylinder is designed for installation in the mouth of the auditory tube, has a maximum transverse dimension of 10–12 mm and is connected to an end connecting element for feeding the filler. Movable clip for sealing of the cylinder is installed near the connecting element.
EFFECT: device enables repairing a lumen of the auditory tube by stenting the auditory tube.
