FIELD: filters.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrostatic filters used for cleaning gases in various industries. Proposed method comprises fabrication of electrode elements by profiling steel strip and cutting elements of specified length after shaping and assembly of said elements into precipitation electrode. Edges of the profile of elements are made with deviations from the axis of the profile of the element by bending, having a beginning and an end, and the ratio of deviation from the axis of the profile of the element at the beginning of shaping of the profile bend to the deviation from the axis of the profile at the end of profiling of the profile is provided from range of 1.5 to 1 for elements assembled into the electrode into the hook, and from range from 1 to 0.67 for elements assembled with open opening between each other.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of electric filter operation due to production of precipitation electrode by assembly of elements of increased accuracy of manufacture with provision of increased rigidity of profile edges and stability of elements at their fixation with shaking beam.
