SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing elements of the collecting electrode of electric precipitators, which are used to purify gases from dust in various industries. The tape is profiled, stopped, fixed, holes are punched in it, and a collecting electrode element of a given length is cut from it. Punching holes and cutting off the collecting electrode element is carried out simultaneously. Holes are punched in the uncut edge of the tape. Profiling of the tape is carried out at a speed of 5-25 m/min, and when punching holes and cutting off the collecting electrode element, the tape is stopped for a period of 1-10 seconds. The curvature along the plane of the resulting element of the collecting electrode does not exceed 0.5 mm per 1 m of length, and the longitudinal axis of the element profile coincides with the central axis of inertia of the element profile.

EFFECT: creation of a more technologically advanced method for manufacturing an element of the collecting electrode of an electrostatic precipitator, which ensures effective cleaning of dust and gas emissions from the electrostatic precipitator.
