FIELD: radar ranging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar ranging and can be used in the radar station with pulsed radiation mode. Method involves analogue-to-digital conversion, phase detection of the signal and its quadrature matched filtering. At that, additionally performing formation of intermediate array Zij , which is necessary for performance of coherent accumulation, formation of array of numbers of resolution elements Nij of intermediate array Zij, as well as formation of complex reference coefficients, further performing the above coherent and incoherent signal accumulation, as well as generation of threshold value for each range resolution element, comparison of coherent accumulation results with threshold values obtained based on results of incoherent signal accumulation, calculating a module and determining a maximum signal value AMAX and its number k in the non-coherent accumulation result array if the threshold value is exceeded, then conversion of signal by its multiplication with reference coefficients is performed by formula Rij = Zij⋅Amj, double inter-stage subtraction and detection of a useful signal.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed method consists in achieving the possibility of resolving signals of targets and passive interference when they are in one element of resolution on range and with considerable masking of the useful signal by a passive jamming signal.
