SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transverse bar for caterpillar tracks (6) of snow grousers. Transverse bar is limited by profiled section (12) and facing plates (17) attached to profiled section (12). Sectional profile is limited by outer surface (13) and comprises fixing section (14) for fixation of belts (10) of caterpillar (6) and two lateral sides (15) protruding from fixing section (14). Facing plates (17) are located along side sides (15) so that to limit part of external surface of the transverse bar.
EFFECT: simplified design and increased durability.
