FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a composition of marine fuel, which contains at least 30–50 wt % residual hydrocarbon component, wherein said residual hydrocarbon component is a wide residual fraction (ATB), having density at 15 °C in range from 0.7 to 1.0 g/cm3, pour point from −19.0 to 64 °C, flash point in range from 80 to 213 °C, acid number of not more than 8.00 mg KOH/g, and kinematic viscosity at 50 °C in range of 1.75 to 15000 cSt; and the rest of the marine fuel composition contains a hydrocarbon component, selected from a group consisting of an unhydrogenated hydrocarbon component, a hydrotreated hydrocarbon component and any combination thereof; wherein said non-hydrocarbon hydrocarbon component is selected from a group consisting of suspension oil, pyrolysis gas oil, light recycle gas oil (LCO), thermal cracking residue, paraffin wax I group, and any combination thereof; wherein said hydrotreated hydrocarbon component is selected from a group consisting of hydrotreated LCO, which contains not more than 400 ppmw sulfur ("400 LCO"), hydrotreated LCO, which contains not more than 15 ppmw sulfur ("15 LCO"), ultra-low-sulfur diesel oil (ULSD), stilling products hydrocracker, and any combination thereof; wherein said composition of marine fuel has density at 15 °C in range from 0.870 to 1.010 g/cm3, kinematic viscosity at 50 °C in range from 1 to 700 cSt, pour point of −30 to 35 °C and flash point at least 60 °C.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining marine fuels with low content of sulfur, which includes at least one residual hydrocarbon component.
