FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, namely, to internal combustion engines. Proposed engine comprises cylinder with piston, con-rod, crankshaft with crankpin, at least one lever connected with crank journal by means of bearing, and additional shaft connected with crankshaft by means of gears of identical diameter with possibility of rotation in different directions. One end of the lever is connected to the piston by means of a connecting rod, and the other end of the lever is connected to the mechanism of the additional shaft with the possibility of changing the position of the end of the lever by means of a cam installed on the additional shaft. Or another end of lever is connected by means of additional connecting rod installed on crankpin of additional shaft. Or another end of the lever is connected by means of a slider mechanism installed on the crankpin of the additional shaft. Mechanism allows to ensure piston retention in upper dead point in cycle "working stroke".
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency, reduced degree of contamination of exhausts due to piston hanging in area of TDC on stroke "working stroke".
