FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing search queries for multiple relational databases of an arbitrary structure, where each of the databases contains predefined report forms with predetermined forms of presenting records in reports. Records are indexed in databases with formation of a common index, using preferable forms of recording presentation for indexing for each record. After generating the initial search query, query terms are converted into terms corresponding to preferred forms of presenting records. Relevant records are searched for using the transformed query terms. Determining the predefined report forms using the found relevant records. Report on the relevant records found as a result of the search is generated with the use to display the found relevant records of the predetermined report forms using the found relevant records.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of search results and faster processing of search requests.
