FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an exhaust cabinet containing an improved shield. Drawer cabinet comprises frame with two front posts (2a, 2b), two rear posts (3a, 3b), rear panel (11), two side panels (6, 7), top panel (8) and screen (4). Screen consists of frame (12) and at least one panel (13) and is designed to close inner chamber (10) of said drawing hood (1). Exhaust hood comprises transmission system (14) for transmitting vertical displacements of said screen (4) and located inside above mentioned front posts (2a, 2b) or inside said front posts (2a, 2b) and said rear posts (3a, 3b). At the same time stands (2a, 2b; 3a, 3b) are characterized by presence of internal space (25) for arrangement of said transmission system (14) closed with door (26, 26a).

EFFECT: technical result is simplicity and speed of maintenance and replacement of screen without standard need in movement of drawing cabinet from wall and disconnection of operating counterweight mechanism from housing of drawing cabinet, protection of mechanisms of screen movement against aggressive action of chemical means located inside drawing box due to arrangement of mechanisms of screen movement in closed space.
