FIELD: nanotechnologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and membrane technology. Composite membrane comprises a nanoporous substrate and 20–200 nm thick selective layer containing nano-sheets of graphene oxide intercalated with fullerenols C60(OH)n or C70(OH)n, where n=10–40, uniformly distributed between graphene oxide nano-sheets. Content of fullerenols in selective layer from 5 to 33 wt%. Size of nano-graphene oxide from 500 to 5,000 nm, C/O ratio in range from 1.2 to 2.1. Substrate is made from nanoporous inorganic or polymer material with pore diameter from 20 to 500 nm, for example, from anodized aluminum oxide, cellulose acetate (AC), or from hollow fiber based on polypropylene (PP), polysulphone (PS), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

EFFECT: composite membrane is intended for drying natural and process gas mixtures and has barrier properties with respect to gases such as N2, O2, CH4, C4H10, and good permeability and selectivity with respect to water vapor and such water-soluble gases as CO2, H2S, high time stability and resistance to pressure drops in baromembrane processes.
